Why Use A Community For Role-Playing?
A Community, in this article, refers to member based web sites that allow writers to gather online. A Community can store content in a database using an orderly manner. The codes that run the Community then calls the content to display a Role-Playing Game for all to read. Anyone can join.
Participants communicate through an interface called a “Forum”. Players can discuss what their Character is doing through ‘Threads”. Threads are specific topics that focus on an aspect of a game or other subject. In our Community, we have custom codes that store Character Sheets and other content for Role-Playing. Some parts of the Community can also engage you in solo play so you are not dependent on a Dungeon Master or other Players.
What Is Your Community Like?
Our world-wide Community holds a more cultured Membership. This means that debates, role-playing and Q&A are all kept at a mature level. Our content is far reaching, therefore giving you access to more than just RPGs. There is worthwhile Discussion on various Topics from around the globe including science, authors, war, culture and so forth. There is also a section to review RPGs and other game types.
Would I Fit In?
Yes. You do not have to be a brilliant writer or star Role-Player to join in. Don’t ever feel intimidated, there is plenty of help in our Community. We do not flame or belittle people who are new and want to learn.
Is There A Cost To Playing RPGs?
No! All our RPGs are FREE! You can start a RPG as a Dungeon Master. You can join a current game as a Player. All we ask is that you take the game seriously by Posting constructively and being timely in updating your Character’s actions so the game does not become stagnant for too long.
